Peabody ‘ Lillian E. Themo 89, passed away on Sunday, March 10, 2024 at the Pilgrim Rehabilitation and Skilled Nursing Center in Peabody .Born in Boston, she was the daughter of the late Vasil and Mary E. (Lynch) Themo. She was raised and educated in Boston and Newton and was a graduate of Newton High School, class of 1953.She is survived by her loving daughter, Jo-Anne Themo-Milano of Peabody, a step-grandson, Christopher Milano, Jr. of Danvers and was the cherished friend of the King and O’Keefe Families. She was also the sister of the late Chester Themo and Ann Marie Themo.Her daughter extends her deepest gratitude to all those who have loved and cared for Lillian. A heartfelt thank you goes out to the folks at Pilgrim Rehabilitation and Skilled Nursing Center in Peabody as well as to those at the Hale House in Boston. The family also wishes to acknowledge the kindness of Compassionate Care Hospice.In Lilly’s honor, the family asks that you reach out and show kindness to those you know who struggle with mental illness.ARRANGEMENTS: Visiting hours will be held at the Conway Cahill-Brodeur Funeral Home, 82 Lynn St., Peabody, Thursday, March 21, 2024 from 4:00 p.m. to 6:30 p.m. followed by a service in the funeral home at 6:30 p.m. Relatives and friends are invited to attend and are encouraged to wear their brightest and cheeriest colors.
