In loving memory of Angelo Bresciani, born on August 10, 1936 in Bergamo, Italy. He peacefully departed this life in his sleep on March 18, 2024.Angelo lived his childhood in Italy and immigrated to Argentina in 1950 at the age of 14. At the age of 26 he met his beloved wife, Lidia Bresciani. They wed in 1965 and soon after immigrated to the United States. There he dedicated himself to providing a ‘better’ life for his family. Angelo and his cousin, Francesco Bono founded and ran two bakeries together and eventually founded the family business, Golden Cannoli. His wife and his children were always his first priority, followed closely by his beloved pets. He was a devoted father, husband, grandfather, and brother, whose selfless sacrifices were the cornerstone of his family’s happiness. His legacy of love and dedication will forever be cherished by all who were fortunate enough to know him. May he rest in eternal peace.Angelo was predeceased by his mother, Ines Sassara. He leaves behind his wife, Lidia Bresciani, his brothers, Federico Sassara and Rodolpho Sassara, his two children, Edwin and Eric and his five grandchildren, Adoni, Leo, Luca, Gianni and Alaia. Lastly, it would be remiss to leave out his beloved dog, Mia and cat, Elvis.Visiting hours will be held at the Lane Funeral Home, 760 Main St. (Rte. 38) WINCHESTER on Friday, March 22nd from 9am-11am. Followed by a Funeral Mass at St. Barbara’s Church, 138 Cambridge Rd, Woburn at 11:30am. Relatives and friends are kindly invited. Interment will be private.
